Hello, and welcome
Hi, I'm Kelly, a self proclaimed recovering perfectionist — and honestly, still very much a work in progress. I started in this work because I know what it feels like to carry the worry, the stress, and the fear of what’s coming next. My hope is to help people find their footing in the middle of all of that — to make space for the messy, uncertain, beautiful parts of being human.

After my dad passed away, my perspective on life shifted in ways I didn’t expect. I started seeing things differently — noticing what really matters, finding new insights about myself, and realizing how much connection helps us heal. Becoming a mom, again and again, added even more depth to that understanding. Each stage of life has shaped me, but what has remained constant is the importance of having someone to walk alongside you — through joy, laughter, pain, and grief alike.

I don’t have a magic wand or a secret formula. What I do have is a deep belief in the power of sitting together in both the light and the dark — creating space for reflection, discovery, and growth. I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore what you need and what you value — because those moments of self-understanding and compassion are what have carried me through, and I believe they can carry you, too.

Experience
Starting out my career in the mental health field, I began working as a Child & Youth Worker supporting individuals and groups at a therapy clinic, in foster homes, and for several years in the school system. After working to support children and youth to build and practice coping skills and strategies, I wanted to expand my work, to dive more deeply into understanding the way people think, learn, and to support them in their journey of healing and self discovery. After completing a Bachelor's in Social Development Studies from Renison Univeristy, I continued my education and received a Masters of Arts in Counselling & Psychology from Yorkville University in 2022.
Kelly, beyond the couch
With two small kids at home, it’s hard to even remember what I like to do for fun… but if I really think about it, I’d say snacking is on the list of the top fave(ha!). These days, a lot of my joy comes from family time—taking my kids to parades, local events, and just soaking in those everyday moments together. I’ll never pass up a game of Uno, and I’ve definitely never met a brownie I didn’t like. I love cooking, trying new recipes, and going on adventures—whether they’re close to home or somewhere far away. I also love reading—usually mystery novels, though a few therapy books make their way in from time to time. And honestly, I just love learning—learning about myself, about people, and about the world around me. Sometimes that looks like chatting, reflecting, or just sitting and being still for a while.
